CALENDAR OF THE READINGS AT THE LIBRARY

Hi,

This is our fourth year of monthly sharing readings with one of  the local libraries, la Biblioteca Central in San Sebastián De Los Reyes.

The first year we became familiar with the plays, ballads and stories of the great writer Oscar Wilde.

Then we moved on the more contemporary works of Roald Dahl.

The short stories of Alice Munro, Truman Capote among others drew our attention last year.

This year we have selected classical authors of the English language whose works were brought to the big screen.We can only do this briefly but hopefully it is enough to whet your appetite to revisit the old favourites and watch marvellous films such as Charles Dickens' 'Oliver!' as we suggested last month.

On February 17th we will be dipping into the wonderful world and mind of  the American author, Mark Twain,
We have chosen  a really beautiful  work...'The Diaries of Adam and Eve'  for the shared readings on Tuesday.
Come and join us by becoming a member of ASEDOW or as a member of la Biblioteca.

Our next get together is on the 17th February at  7:17 p.m.
