En El Paseo De Recoletos Madrid you can walk down the wide streets of this beautiful city and contemplate artisans at work. Our friend José has a stall called Ningures. It is definitely worth a visit.

Buy something and  take it home as a souvenir, something you will always treasure.

Audrey and Michael have kindly given us their collection of DVDs which they have acquired over the years.👏👏👏👏👏 We will eventually put the list on the blog. 

Today we will be stacking them away and possibly we will choose one to watch in our room.

Yeats Day Madrid

William Butler Yeats is one of Ireland´s best loved poets.
This is an invitation for poetry lovers.

Not many people know that beside Pablo Picasso´s world famous depiction of Guernica,which is  in Museo Nacional  Centro de Arte Reina Sofía Madrid, that there is  a quote on the wall from the powerful poem The Second Coming by W. B. Yeats, part of which you can read below.
