Las Lecturas Compartidas En Inglés 2016
La actividad comenzó en enero de 2012. Desde entonces, nos hemos estado reuniendo una vez al mes, de 19:15 a 21:00 en la Biblioteca Central.
Se trata de una actividad coordinada entre la Asociación Educativa Oscar Wilde y la Biblioteca Central de San Sebastián De Los Reyes. Durante el primer año leímos extractos en inglés de las obras completas de Oscar Wilde.
En 2015 nos acercamos a autores clásicos de la lengua inglesa cuyas obras han sido llevadas al cine, Charles Dickens, John Steinbeck, Mark Twain, Truman Capote, Emily Brontë.
Una o dos semanas antes de la reunión, se comunica por correo electrónico a los asistentes cuál es el relato elegido y durante la reunión, lo leemos en voz alta, por turnos. Después de la lectura se intercambian opiniones sobre lo que nos ha sugerido la lectura.
El año 2016 promete ser muy interesante. Vamos a descubrir mucho sobre los autores y su arte. Veremos alguna película relacionada con nuestras lecturas también.
Empezaremos con una fascinante entrevista con el autor de Breakfast at Tiffany's, Truman Capote. La próxima reunión será el martes 9 de febrero a las 19:15h

St Sebastian's day 20th January is a holiday here in San Sebastián De Los Reyes.

BOOKS GALORE
Hi folks,
Another good reason to join this association is because you can come and borrow books all year round.
We have a cupboard full of them in our room in la Universidad Popular of San Sebastián De Los Reyes.
When you are there, you will see that we have a good dvd collection too.
Not only that, but for your comfort you will soon be able to browse through the list of books drawn up for us by Felisa. It is very user friendly indeed.

The tale is told by the housekeeper, Nellie Dean to Lockwood, a gentleman from the south of England who rents Thrushcross Grange in the Yorkshire moors.
This controversial first and only novel was published in 1847,
Emily died the following year aged 30.
