Talking Group

Universidad Popular Av Baunatal 18 Wednesday 26th Oct 18:30h

'It isn't anything he ever says. It's the way he looks at her now, the way he has been looking at her for the past few months, without any noticeable interest, his eyes blank, unfocused, as if looking at her were no different from looking at  a spoon or a washcloth, a speck of dust.'
From Sunset Park by Paul Auster 2006 Prince of Asturias Prize for Literature

Why do we get married? Does society force us into it? Why do celebrities find it so hard to keep their marriages going? Are we humans really monogamous?

Answer these questions if you can!!

Come to our talks but...

The question:

Do you support the final agreement for the ending of the conflict and the construction

Wonderful Wilde

BIBLIOTECA CENTRAL SAN SEBASTIAN DE LOS REYES OCT 11th 19:15h
METRO BAUNATAL
On the 11th  at our shared readings we will read 'The Devoted Friend' by Oscar Wilde.
People well versed in literature are familiar with Oscar Wilde's miller.
It is a well known tale told by animals and as always nature is the beautiful backdrop.  A children's story that fills you with admiration for the writer's ability to gently denounce deep injustices.
Many thanks to Raquel for finding the link.

Wish we were there!!!

Calentando motores

.... como dice Juana;))

If  we have enough people we can enjoy a weekend trip to San Sebastián/ Donostia in the Basque country.
Please share the poster below with your friends and take this great opportunity to visit  the 2016 European Capital of Culture.
After the pintxos there will be an optional guided tour of the city.

A healthy debate

Isn't it better for rules to be agreed on together? For  example the burka ban or burkini ban.
When police were asked to enforce a local law on the beach in Cannes in the south of France this summer, the pictures went viral and raised many more issues.

Would you like to contrast your opinions with us. Come to our talks at the Universidad Popular on Wednesday 18:30h.
Be prepared! Read the links Luis has sent by writing to asedow@gmail.

See you there!
