Come and read the thrilling first chapters of the story about Heathcliff and Catherine, 

The tale is told by the housekeeper, Nellie Dean to Lockwood, a gentleman from the south of England who rents Thrushcross Grange in the Yorkshire moors.

This controversial first and only novel was published in 1847, 
Emily died the following year aged 30.
